Zero Tolerance Policy

In order to ensure the safety of all patients, team members and providers, we have a zero tolerance policy towards physical and verbal abuse. Such behavior will result in immediate dismissal from the practice and a police report filed.

Examples of behavior that will not be tolerated include, but not limited to:

• Any physical violence towards any team member, providers, or other patients
• Verbal abuse/ swearing/ threats directed at team members, providers, patients  
• Verbal abuse via text, email/mail or telephone
• Racial abuse and sexual harassment/remarks 
• Persistent or unrealistic demands that cause stress to staff will not be accepted. We strive to meet patient requests when possible and reasonable.
• Causing damage/stealing from the Practice’s premises, staff or patients
• Requesting or obtaining drugs and/or dental services fraudulently

Removing other members of the household

In rare cases we will dismiss the entire household to ensure the integrity of the office and safety of all patients, dental team members and providers.
